City of Lons-le-Saunier

January 6, 2014, The EDF Group through its affiliate EDF Optimal Solutions (EOS) and its partner Courtois Archittectes are signed with the City of Lons-le-Saunier an Energy Performance Contract on energy renovation of 3 schools, 2 school groups and 3 social & cultural centers.

EOS is committed to ensuring 42% primary energy savings and 63% reduction in CO₂ emissions over 16 years.

In addition, energy renovation will improve the aesthetics of some buildings, maximize user comfort and preserve the heritage of the city. An awareness program for users to eco-gestures, and a program of work for persons with reduced mobility will be also included.

For 16 years, the maintenance and operation will be fully insured by Ecotral, another affiliate of the EDF Group.
